Inversion Table Review: Comparing Inversion Tables
Review Of Inversion Tables Available In The UK
A Guide to choosing an Inversion Table
There are now many inversion tables available to the home user and this site compares inversion tables in the budget price range. Our review of inverison tables found that the cheapest table, the ‘Repute Inversion Table’ was found to be perfectly adequate for home use. There are a number of features that vary from table to table. Some things to consider when comparing inversion tables to buy are:
- Does it have adjustment for the inversion angle? This is usually done with a strap.
- How small does it fold? Inversion tables are quite large, You don’t want to get one home and then find you’ve nowhere to store it.
- How heavy is it? Expensive models are made from higher quality & lighter materal – if you have to fold and move your inversion table between uses you don’t want something which is too heavy
- Does it balance well? More expensive tables tend to balance better – this makes it easier to invert and get back to upright again.
- Will it take your height & weight? This is very important -make sure the inversion table you are looking at can take your weight and is suitable for your height!
- Does it have protectors aound the pivot point – especially important if you have children around. In our inversion table review the ‘Life Gear Inversion Table‘ was the only one which had this feature. (Note that not having this feature does not indicate a problem, as the pivot design is different on different models, so protection may not be necessary)
- Are the foot restraints comfortable? Again, different tables have different mechanisms for holding you feet in place. The ‘Life Gear Inversion Table” has an excellent adjustment mechanism which locks your lower legs in place without causing your feet discomfort.

Physio Pro Inversion Table – This is a professional adjustable inversion table that allows the user total inversion. The use of Inversion Tables has been proven therapy for back pain. When inverting, the force of gravity counteracts compressions in the joints, mainly concentrating on the back, neck and hips.
Inversion Tables helps to optimize lumbar traction and allows the back muscles that support the vertebrae to relax. This also improves circulation and reduces tension. This in turn also helps to reduce the effects of spinal compression and stimulates blood flow for increased mental alertness and helps with stress relief, compression fatigue and lower back pain.

This is a high quality Inversion Table with adjustable user height, double stitched 2″ foam backrest and large foam covered handrails.
It features a non-skid floor stabilisers, safety side covers and adjustable safety tether strap which allows you to safely invert the angle you require . The Table has a folding design for compact storage.
User height range is 147cm-198cm and maximum weight is 136kgs.
Inversion, which involves being placed upside down with the feet above the head, reverses the effect of gravity on the back, decompressing the spine and relieving pressure on the vertebrae. At the same time it stimulates blood flow, which reduces stress and fatigue and leaves you feeling energised.

This is the cheapest of the tables on this site, but it is still an excellent Inversion Table, having a great technical specification, design and construction.
The height of the table can be quickly and easily adjusted to suit different users. This table is strongly built and as an added safety feature the table has an adjustable nylon strap fitted to restrict the maximum angle of inversion according to your preference. The table also folds for easy storage making it ideal for the modern home.
Once strapped in by the ankles the user can rotate the table, which pivots at the centre, by simply lifting their arms. The shift of weight causes the finely balanced table to tip backwards until the user is in an inverted position (upside down).
Does Inversion Therapy Help Hair Loss
You’re starting to lose hair, can inversion therapy help?
I was talking to a hairdresser recently about hair loss and asked her what she was taught about it when she studied for her hairdressing qualifications. Her response was that the only think that might help was massaging your hair. I’ve read many articles claiming that massaging your head, around the hair line, can help with hair loss. The usual reason given is that it improves circulation, and this is the reason she was given in her hairdressing course.
